Asquera is looking for a full-time Senior Backend Developer (all gender) with interest in databases and backends to complete our inclusive team. Our office is located in Kreuzberg and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

Who we are

Asquera, that is a consulting company with a team of people focused on backend and database systems. We as a company try our best to build an inclusive environment, in which we help and support other by being open, friendly, honest and welcoming, be it within the team or when working with clients. The same effort goes into the organization of local meetups here in Berlin that we host or co-host.

Who you are

As a backend developer, you will work on building and changing smaller and long-term projects from either our office, or on site at the costumer. Using appropriate tech choices, you find solutions suitable for our costumers’ needs. For some projects, you may also provide operations support.

You have several years’ experience in backend development and ideally are experienced in at least two programming languages, for example Ruby, Python or JS. You enjoy using both relational and document-based databases, such as Postgres, MySQL or CouchDB. As a bonus, you’re confident with Elasticsearch as well.

You enjoy collaborating in a team, are curious and want to continue learning new technologies. You want to share your knowledge with the team and mentor our Jr. Devs.
